Destination: Kampala City, Jinja Source of the nile
Day 1: Arrive at Entebbe.
Arrival Cochin International airport/ Rly station meet and Greet by the representative of GWT and then transfer to Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On arrival at Munnar and check in at your resort. In the evening you can go for sightseeing of Munnar and witness tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lust green hills, a place so difficult to describe. Over night at a Hill/plantation resort.
Day 2: Visit to Entebbe zoo and the botanical gardens
This morning after your breakfast, students will be transferred to the Uganda wild life education center also known as the Entebbe zoo upon with their packed lunch. This will reward them views of a wide game and birds plus lectures about the animal behaviors, ecology of Lake Victoria and the historical and Cultural relevance of Entebbe to modern Uganda are highly rewarded. You will have lunch which will be followed by a visit to the botanical gardens in Entebbe for some lessons about medicinal plants. Dinner and overnight stay at Serena hotel (luxury)/ the lodge (deluxe)/ Nexus lodge (budget).
Day 3: Travel to Jinja.
After breakfast, students will be transferred to Jinja through Mabira forest and sugar plantations. Arrive early enough for white water rafting along river Nile which will be followed by visiting a local market in Jinja where students will get an opportunity of interacting with the local people as this will help them acquire entrepreneurship skills among others. Have lunch and later in the afternoon, you will take a visit to the Sezibwa falls, Bujagali falls and the source of river Nile. Lessons about John Hannington Speke; the Explorer as his discovery travels inside Uganda are highly rewarded. Dinner and overnight at Jinja Nile resort.
Day 4: Departure
After a heavy breakfast, students will be transferred to Kampala with a stopover in Mabira forest where students will be told the relative importance of natural forests and a brief description of the diversity as well as the ecology of Mabira forest. Afterwards, you will continue for lunch in Kampala which will be followed by a transfer to Entebbe for your flight back home.
